Mary, Queen of Families

Koinonia’s mission elevates the family, thus, Mary, Queen of Families is an especially fitting patroness for our hybrid school designed to serve families. Pope St. John Paul II added “Queen of Families” to the Litany of Loreto in 1995 and preached frequently on the beauty and necessity of the family, the domestic church. As Mary watches over and intercedes for the entire Body of Christ, she also cares for each domestic church. Our Lady was instrumental in the earliest stages of Koinonia Hybrid Academy when our board prayed a 54 Day Rosary Novena to ask Mary to pray for us as we discerned whether to create a new hybrid school. We continue to seek her intercession for our work to elevate and support families as they educate and form their children.
